Training
We strongly believe in the benefits of a foundation in dressage training for horses performing in all disciplines.
Horses here are taught how to carry their bodies correctly for a lifetime of improved soundness and useability. They learn to respond happily and correctly to their riders aids giving them a firm skill base to build into an enjoyable riding horse or a top level competitor, depending on their abilities and the goals of their owner.
What to expect when you put your horse in training with us

If you put your horse in training with Privateer Riding Academy, you can expect to bring home a horse that has been slowly and gently honed into a happy athlete with a willing and happy attitude, ready to take you wherever you wish to go.
Training packages can be customized to each horse/rider duo. For most pairs, a combination of lessons and trainings rides is a very effective option. It's a great way to keep the lines of communication between horse and rider uncluttered, allowing you to have a very clear grasp of what your horse has learned and how to take full advantage or that training when riding on your own.
